Good morning from Cowes where the Coutts Quarter Ton Cup fleet is currently waiting ashore for more information from our Race Officer Rob Lamb. Currently conditions are overcast with a very light wind from the SSE. The Race Committee is out on the water assessing the conditions and they have just radioed the competitors to advise them that there is a strong tide running and that although they have a light wind it is currently quite patchy across the race area. They are anticipating that the wind should begin to build shortly and they will radio the teams again at 09.45 with a further update. They hope to be able to tell the fleet to go afloat at that time. Stand by everyone.
