Meteo Advice From A Solent Legend

Its always good to wander the dock and pick up a few top tips and this morning’s little gem comes from Solent sailing leg-end Jeff Dakin who is sailing Flashheart.  When asked for his advice on when he thought the wind would fill in he gave the matter due consideration, stuck his index finger in his mouth and said sagely “Forty years of sailing in the Solent and all I know is you can tell a lot from a wet finger.” Wise words indeed.
