Good morning from Cowes where we are all set for a great opening day at the Coutts Quarter Ton Cup 2016. The fleet are off the dock and Race Officer Rob Lamb and the Royal Yacht Squadron Racing team are just about to go with the first race of what promises to be a four race day. It’s currently overcast by dry and bright with a good southwesterly breeze of around 17 knots, although the forecasters are threatening us with possible heavy showers later.
Stay tuned and we’ll bring you updates during the day. You can also follow the event on our new Facebook Page.
